Regular visitors to the series, Ensemble 360 have quickly gained an enviable reputation across the UK not only for the quality and integrity of their playing, but also for their flexibility in orchestration and repertoire.

Janácek gave his chamber concerto programmatic notions such as “grumpy hedgehog” or “fidgety squirrel”, making for an intriguing opening to the evening. Mozart considered his Quintet “the best thing I have written in my life”, while Korngold’s Quintet not only displays the grand, sweeping scale of his later film music but also contains secret codes addressed to his fiancée.
