Marmen Quartet are the current holders of Music in the Round's 'Bridge' scheme, performing regularly in venues around the UK and internationally. Their love of chamber music combined with a mutual interest in a wide spectrum of musical eras and styles remains their fundamental inspiration.

They bring us two cornerstones of the repertoire, as well as Philip Glass’ 1985 Mishima Quartet, originally part of a film score. Its six movements depict different stages of the famous Japanese writer’s life.

These excellent young players have enormous potential” Angus Smith, Music in the Round
