The stately ceremonial steps leading to the majestic one-tonne bronze doors were until recently only available for use by royalty, but are now also available to you for the grandest of entrances.
The Wedding Ceremony
Three rooms are licensed for wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships, including the Lord Mayor’s Banqueting Room, with seating for up to 120 guests. Arrange your own music, unique decorations or floral arrangements, our events team will work with you to bring your ideas to life.
The legalities of the marriage are arranged and conducted by the Registry Office. You would need to ensure that the registrars are available to perform the ceremony on your chosen day and time before making a reservation with us at the Guildhall. Registrars’ fees are not included in our room hire charge.
