Community Call Out - Portsmouth’s Centenary Celebrations!
As the city marks 100 years, Portsmouth Guildhall Trust is inviting artists, creatives, community groups and organisations to join us in creating Guildhall Squared; a joyful new festival to be held in a 39m x 15m tent in Guildhall Square between the 5th – 10th of May 2026
We’re inviting Artists, Creatives, Producers and Community Leaders to propose activities, performances, exhibitions or workshops to us to fill the Guildhall Square’s huge 585m2 festival tent with a rich variety of music, theatre, spoken word, film, food, dance and family fun.
Guildhall Squared will celebrate connections across ages, cultures and communities. And where possible activities will be free for audiences to enjoy.
Just as a square requires four corners, so “Guildhall Squared” will draw from the four corners of our great city. So, we’re putting the “feelers” out…
Guildhall Squared offers:
- Access to the tent and a dedicated space for your activity
- Staffing and technical support
- Marketing and promotional support
- Advice and production guidance
