Future Folk returns to the Lens Studio at the Portsmouth Guildhall for another night of Folk, Roots and Americana.

We’re delighted to invite back the fantastic Rob Johnston and his trio. Rob Johnston is a unique guitarist who blends his brilliant technique with different playing styles and influences. He is part of an evolving tradition of acoustic guitar playing drawing on a classical background as well as world and folk roots. A mesmerising performer who you are sure to be impressed by!

Opening the night is the Katy Hooper and Rob Mccann, Katy Hooper is a singer–songwriter of Australian/British origin but with roots in many places between the countries she has lived & travelled. Katy uses delicate vocals and finger picking guitar to create her own Folk/World style.
