Building Works – Important Information Important Information about The Base building works Portsmouth Guildhall Work on The Base has Begun! We have now started the building phase of an exciting £1.3million project that will transform the basement of Portsmouth Guildhall into one of the most unique and innovative creative spaces for young people in the country and will provide new toilet facilities for all of our customers. During the build phase of the project, the basement will not be accessible and alternative facilities will be provided. Temporary toilets, including an accessible toilet, will be located outside of the venue on the north side of the building by The Lens Studio. These will be signposted, and our team will be on hand to direct you. Please note that our cloakroom space during the build phase will also be limited. Work is set to be completed in Spring 2024 and we thank you for your co-operation and understanding during the build phase.
