We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been shortlisted in The LIVE Awards 2023 Venue of the Year category alongside the country’s premier venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall.
The LIVE Awards is the UK live music industry’s sector awards, taking place on the 12th of December 2023 in London We’re honoured to be nominated for this prestigious award which recognises innovation in programming, and the wider engagement with the creative sector. The investment in sound and lighting this past year has enabled more promoters to visit us than ever before, supporting our environmental strategy in reducing carbon emissions. With our partners we’ve brought to Portsmouth, and invested in new events such as Takedown Festival, as well offering a truly diverse programme of artists across the main hall and Lens Studio.
However, our success is down to our audience, who continue to support and visit their Guildhall, and therefore cements the Guildhall’s status as the best concert hall in the South of England.
