In celebration of Portsmouth 100!

As part of the city’s Portsmouth 100 commemorative year, University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth Cathedral and Portsmouth City Council have come together to deliver four uplifting days of classical and light music in the Sing 100 Festival!

Home to a wide range of musical talent from children as young as six to experienced adult performers, across both amateur and professional groups, Sing 100 is your chance to experience the breadth of what our musical community has to offer.

Enjoy inspiring performances, discover new ensembles and maybe find a group you’d love to join!

At Portsmouth Guildhall, we are delighted to host the following events which are part of Sing 100:

THE UNIVERSITY OF PORTSMOUTH ORCHESTRA & CONCERT BAND

The ensembles feature students from many university departments who play alongside musicians from the city community, all under the expert tuition and direction of Ken Wharton Emms and Ka Wai Cheng.
