Crystal Tides are an electrifying indie rock band from the coastal city of Portsmouth, United Kingdom. Formed in the vibrant music scene of this historic naval town, the band has quickly captivated audiences with their catchy melodies, lively performances, and heartfelt lyrics. With multiple sold-out shows and successful UK tours under their belt, Crystal Tides have established themselves as one of the most exciting rising forces in the UK indie landscape.
Their momentum reached a major milestone with the release of their debut album, Toothpaste, making Crystal Tides the first independent band from Portsmouth to achieve a Top 40 position in the Official Albums Chart. The album also reached Number 1 on the Official Download Charts, marking a landmark achievement for both the band and Portsmouth’s independent music scene.
Their rise has been amplified by significant support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, and Virgin Radio UK, alongside playlist placements across Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Starting off with Solent! This one is kind of an early Catfish and The Bottlemen vibe, and I love it. That guitar line is insane! This is Crystal Tides!
